Meet our Area Director

Michelle Carmical
Okaloosa/Walton County
Fellowship of Christian Athletes Area Director

Michelle has been the Area FCA Director since Okaloosa/Walton FCA's creation five years ago and continues to grow support for the vision and mission statement of FCA.

PURSUING THE VISION:

EVERY coach, EVERY athlete, EVERY student, EVERY faculty member on EVERY campus to hear the Gospel and to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ in Okaloosa/Walton Schools. With this continued growth and awareness, she and the Board continue to benefit and serve 47 Okaloosa/Walton County school huddles. OWFCA has been blessed with this year’s Student Board Representatives that supports the vision and growth as a student-led ministry and define the future of FCA impact and influence.

Michelle has joined in with a pilot program called "Grab Your Cleats". The program supports the relationship of our churches and the community, gathering volunteers to join FCA as Character Coaches so they may share their Christian influence.

In her spare time, Michelle is very active in her local church: working with the young adult ministry, leading the missional/outreach team and holding a position on Trustee board. She also mentors local high school students and supports many other area organizations and initiatives. She loves spending time at the gym and engages in a plethora of outdoor activities. Michelle has three sons, one is a teacher at Silver Sands and baseball coach at Fort Walton High School, one recently graduated from law school and works at the Public Defender’s Office in Pensacola, and one has followed his dream of building his own outdoor clothing business while being a full-time missionary in Guatemala and now serves as an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force.
