Michelles Message: Giving God All the Glory

“Giving God All the Glory”

“And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17( HCSB)

Okaloosa/Walton FCA calendar school year has come to an end with lots of exciting events to reflect on. By God's Grace and direction we have had a great year. In November and December Okaloosa/Walton FCA was very busy working within our schools. We had the pleasure to be a part of our schools' Fall Sports Award ceremonies, celebrating and honoring athletes that were selected by their peers as the student that best represented FCA's values, Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence as a teammate and as a student of faith on and off the field at their school; those students received the “Go the Distance” medallion.

Football Season ended on a great note with the celebration of our first Okaloosa/Walton FCA “Legacy Challenger Banquet”. With nine high schools in Okaloosa/Walton, we were honored to have all of our schools sharing our first annual “Legacy Challenger Banquet”. These football players received the “Legacy Challenger Helmet”, and like the athlete/award recipients of the Fall Sports Awards ceremonies, carried their Faith with them on and off the field “Giving God ALL the Glory” in their daily walk.

FCA looks forward to attending all the Schools in our two county area and celebrating their Winter Sports ceremonies while honoring their players with the “Above the Rim” and “Beyond the Goal” medallions.

FCA has started the planning for the “All-Sports FCA Breakfast” and is looking forward to gathering over 1000 students under one roof in celebration and worship giving “God ALL the Glory” for our opportunity to have Okaloosa/Walton FCA in our area. Stay tuned for updates about a great time and the student speakers from our area schools.

Here at FCA we have “Keys to Victory” to keep our eyes on HIS glory, and one of those keys is a firm foundation in the word of God. We are both pleased and blessed to share that we have purchased over 500 bibles in 2014 and passed them out to students in our area.

In closing, I want to thank the donors that have made this an amazing year with their love, prayers, the volunteering of their time, efforts and financial support that has allowed this Okaloosa/Walton FCA to grow deep in its roots and provided the ability to plant the seeds of HIS word in our coaches, teachers, community and students. We have had a great year and with your continued donations we will continue to grow this ministry and reach our FCA Mission, the 4-C's of FCA, by providing resources to our Campuses, Coaches, Community and Camps.

Visit our website, OWFCA.org, and make your donations today so we may continue to grow and serve. Please also consider becoming a monthly team-member by setting up an automatic monthly payment (AMP) to support the ministry throughout the year.

We look forward to sharing more next month and want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

In HIS grace and love,

Michelle
